On Friday I had my second dress fitting and it went well! My extra cardio + slightly healthier eating = my dress zipped up WAY easier this time. I have a corset back, but it zips up a little bit still. The little cap sleeves she added weren't quite right, so she's altering them and then my *hopefully* final fitting is on Saturday, Dec. 19. I'm not 100% sold on the sleeves... so if I'm not loving them she may have to remove them. I don't know what will happen.
Friday I also had my hair trial with my FSIL and it went well! I originally wanted my hair curled, how I normally get it done for special events, but I wasn't really "feeling" it the way she was doing it. I don't know if it's because this was a run through, so it wasn't perfect, or if it was because she just wasn't using enough hair spray. I figured it would be fine the day-of, so after she was done she brushed my hair out (so FI wouldn't see it) and I LOVED how the big, loose, beachy curls looked. My hair hates to hold a real curl, but it's ok holding loose curls, so I think that's what we're going to do now. It looked so good with my veil! The only thing I'm a little worried about is my bangs, I have side bangs and I don't want them to fall flat. FSIL assured me they won't, she will use plenty of good hair spray.
Also - I got a coloring book, and big fat crayons (washable kind) for my nephews OOT bag.
Woo!! 25 more days!
