I am about to give up

On trying to update my sig.  I have been trying for weeks now, and I continue to get an error message.  So frustrating.  I have tried the code I used to use, and I have searched through multiple knot threads on various boards for the code that others claim work for them, but it does not for me.

So, this is my last attempt.  If you successfully have a pic and a bio posted in your sig, what is the complete code you are using?

ok what I did was put the pic in photobucket and then copied the HTML code and pasted it into my sig box.


maybe this will work for you

<a href=INSERT PIC HERE</a />    this is the code around the pic address or whatever it is.....hope this helps if not then i'm not too sure what to do

You can change the 250 to any number to make the picture bigger or smaller, and make sure to take out the *'s
Makre sure none of the url is bolded or it wont work either

oh and the picture you take it from you need to get the location of the picture if your using it from a host site like photobucket or shutterfly, and that is what you make into a tinyurl

are you using a photoshare site?
because with photobucet under the pics you will see a few diff links to use.  you copy the HTML one.  well thats how I did it anyways

also the knot might just be giving you trouble becuse you usually see the inccorect pic address in your siggy even if the pic does not work and all I see is the link to your bio

So, thanks for trying to help (I really appreciate it), but I still keep getting this message:

I did that.  The image location from Shutterfly is http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b9d802b3127ccec73b599f5a3e00000040O00AZs2bVu2Yt2QPbz4e/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/, which I then posted in tinyurl, which gives me http://tinyurl.com/2vmdnfe. I then un-bold it and put in the code with just the quotation marks around it so that it is the following:

Also, TK did what it did with you when I copied and pasted.  The code I am using in my sig does not include that weird &rdquo;.  Instead it has "  .

ugh stupid computer at work internet sucks... Theknot and nest have been really stupid lately so I duno why it's not working for you when I got it to work for me.... keep the url code that I gave you in your siggy and hopefully it will start to work.  did you try logging out and back in?

Hmmm...Have not tried logging in and out.  Will try that.  After that, I resign to having a pictureless siggy for now!

I can now see a picture box. I'm at work so I can not actually see the picture.  so I think you did it right.  I should chek it on my phone. hmmm nope.  thats weird that it wont work for you but it will work for Misty.

So, I just tried even deleting everything in my siggy box, and I get the error message then too.  It will not even let me delete what is already there, so I think my account just has some problems.  Oh well.
