Hi!! So what have I mised?? (and a minor vent)

I was about to drive to my mom's house and strangle her.  So I took a few days off and avoided her like the plague.  She's a worse procrastinator than I am and after yelling at her she FINALLY got the invitations printed.  I was almost done with them (like down to the last 5) and realized she put to I's in April, it said Apriil!!  She said she would get them fixed the next day, which obviously meant 2 days later, and would over night them to me.  But didn't take into account MLK day.  SO my invitations came a week later, and I got them 98% done yesterday and today.  I plan on doing the last 2 things and getting them in the mail on Monday.... OH WAIT!!!  Still waiting on my mother to mail me the velum covers for them, and since I don't have a Hobby Lobby near me I'm at her mercy.

So how's it shakin with ya'll?

Ugh... how frustrating. 

I am working on trying to get my invites onto a single 8x11 file so that I can print them when my C&P order comes in on Monday. This should NOT be as frustrating as it is. 

Waiting for FI to get up so we can go to the gym.

Lindsay I've been wondering where you've been! it must be frustrating when things get delayed and you have no control over it. Hopefully you'll get them all done soon! I just helped FI shovel. We have a 3 car driveway and 3 cars so I got a little exercise! The snow is so fine and light it just blows but I guess that's better than heavy wet snow! I think tonight will be my wine drinking night!

Hi Lindsay! We missed you. That is so frustrating about you mom. I am glad that you are almost done with the invites though. Me, I think we are booking our photographer this weekend. I am really excited!

Saturday is the perfect wine drinking night. Would this be the ice wine? I really want to hear what this stuff is all about. 

Cathy- photographer was my favorite check. And also because of the way the wedding industry is in Vegas, it was our first one. We booked him a year out!

OMG Lindsey that sucks!!  But you're almost done!  You'll feel awesome to get that off your chest!  I was so happy to send invites out... and getting the replies is even more fun!

Noooo! Lol. The ice wine is only for special occasions! The ice wine is made at below zero temps in Niagara Falls Canada (well the kind that we got is from there). The go out in the middle of the night to pick the frozen grapes off the vine. Each grape has ONE, that's right one, drop of juice in it. This is what they use to make ice wine and why it costs $60-$100+ for a 12 oz bottle. Last year all bottles were over $100 so we didn't buy any. This year we got 2 at $60 a piece.

I love ice wine. The first time I had it was at Brotherhood winery here in NY. I got FI into it too! It is REALLY expensive though.

It is amazing and very sweet wine. The one kind we got is from Inniskillin, they have a website with more info about their wine. We got the Vidal ice wine, it's fabulous!

Hi Lindsey,  I hope you get everything from your mother soon and can get the invites checked off!
Jenn - I find most wines too dry but I think I might like ice wine.  Too bad it is so expensive.

I missed all of you!  I just had NOTHING nice to say, so it was best I say nothing at all.

OMG Ice wine sounds amazing!!

Jenn- I can't even imagine how much of a pain it is to shovel snow, but my warm FL sun is with you in spirit!

So frustrating, but it it will be a relief when they are finally done. 

Just want to warn you that postage is going up as of January 22, so just make sure you put enough on the envelopes.
