Dress opinions.... do I need to start the search over again?

I purchased my dream dress...a Maggie Sottero...back in October when I thought I was still having a fall wedding in October in Kentucky. Since then, the signif other and I have decided to elope instead on the beach in St. Lucia in November. I absolutely love my dress that I have already ordered, but I am worried that it is not appropriate for a beachy wedding (it is sparkly and made of satin). I don't want to shell the $$$ out for a new dress (money issues are the reason we are eloping) but I don't want to regret my dress decision either. Here's the dress I already ordered...what do you think?

Gorgeous dress! Just as pp's said, if you love it, wear it! I had a satin dress too that was more "formal" for a beach wedding and (besides it being a bit hot), I loved it and wouldn't have changed it for anything!

The dress is gorgeous and I think you should just go ahead an wear it.  There are no rules as to what dress you wear to a beach wedding.  It's your wedding and you love the dress so I say wear it!!

Like many others have said - wear it! If you loved it in the beginning, it shouldn't really matter if you're eloping. You still want to look gorgeous

Gorgeous dress! Definitely wear it. I knew from the start we were having a beach wedding, and I have a more formal sparkly lacey dress. As long as you love your dress it doesn't matter what it looks like.

I agree with everyone else, def wear it!  I'm a Maggie Bride too (Milana style, no straps).  It's def a lot dressier than a "beach" dress too!  All that matters it that you feel awesome in your dress!!!

I think it's a great dress for a DW.  Another magie bride here (caprice), many of the girls wear a more formal dress on the beach.

Ok... that dress is gorgeous!!  I love it so much I showed my FI... the guy who looks at the price of dresses on line with me and almost goes into convulsions (tee hee) and he even said, "she should wear that dress--it's beautiful".  So, you've even got a guys opinion--WEAR IT.
