So we're planning on getting married here by a J.P. so our parents and grandparents can attend, but we'd still like to have a small ceremony on the beach at the resort in Jamaica (the travel agent says people do this all of the time). So, I'm just curious, is this actually very common? Anyone know of someone who has done/is doing this? What is needed for their Jamaican "wedding"? Since it's not the official ceremony, do I still need birth certificates, etc.? help!
