WC getting on my last nerve

I've had the same WC for my entire planning process. We have only corresponded via email, and have discussed several details more than once. I don't think he's taking notes.

Last week I emailed him and asked if we could schedule our rehearsal for 2pm, and if we could plan a "clam bake" type RD for the same evening. There were some other questions also, regarding table options.

He emails me back and doesn't even answer my question about the time, and says we can schedule the reception dinner for on the beach.

:Ugh:

So I email him back again ask if we can have the rehearsal at 2pm, and I clarify that I was asking about the RD and table options for the reception which was already suppose to be reserved at the steakhouse.

He emails me back AGAIN and says we can have the rehearsal at 2pm, and he was confused about the RD and reception. He thinks we want the RD in the venue we are planning on have the RECEPTION and then have the reception on the beach.

I might lose it, seriously. WTF. We have discussed where the reception was to take place at least a dozen times. All I wanted to know were table options, and if we could have the RD on the beach.

So I emailed him back - again - and made it very clear by saying the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner are on January 7, and at what times those should take place. Then I informed him the reception is on January 8 at 6pm after the wedding and cocktail hour.

I don't understand what is so complicated?? Shouldn't he be making plans for this stuff and know what's going on by now?!

I'm getting very nervous then when I get to Cancun nothing is going to be right and I will have to spend all of our time leading up to the wedding, holding his hand and making sure everything is right. No offense to anyone here - but I will NOT be happy if my reception is on the beach. That's the absolute last thing I want.

Re: WC getting on my last nerve

  • Yeah, I think he needs to step it into high gear fast!  I think there's a definite communication gap he's lacking.  Hopefully once your party gets to cancun you will be his only priority and he will make everything perfect!  HUGS, hope he gets a clue soon!!!
  • Thank you!

I think he got the message from my last email because he responded right away, when it normally takes 24 hours minimum.
