The stupid burns on my leg hurt so bad all I want to do is lay down and cry. It probably won't be healed enough before Hawaii for me to be able to swim or snorkel or do any of the fun things we have planned. At this point I can't stand up straight and I walk with a limp. The wounds are also oozing through several layers of bandages and I'm afraid it will stain my wedding dress. I'm so upset that I'm going to look like a hobbled over loser in my wedding pictures and video. I also have a cold, which hopefully will go away before then, but right now my voice sounds like a man.
My parents are telling me that I should sue the company that makes the collander I used. We have this over the sink collander that only has holes on the bottom. On their website they advertise it as a collander for straining/draining pasta, but as we see from my leg, it doesn't drain fast enough and often splashes boiling water ON YOU. A good amount of the reviews on amazon are from people who have been burned.
Originally I didn't think I wanted to sue them, but if I'm not healed well enough to stand up straight in my wedding pictures I might. :-/
