Soooo... one of my best frends from college, who lives in Charlotte, e-mailed me the other day and said she had a "prize" for me. A dress that she scooped up that she claimed "screamed Emily" and she thought I could wear it to my shower. She's so sweet - she does thoughtful stuff like this all the time So she was going to put in the mail for me today. Well, I get a call on my way home from the gym, and she was all apologetic, saying she didn't put it in the mail today - BECAUSE SHE'S MAKING AN IMPROMPTU WEEKEND TRIP DOWN HERE TOMORROW TO GIVE IT TO ME IN PERSON!!!!! And she's been helping me with a wedding project that she says she wants to do with me in person!! I literally cried.... what an amazing friend! She said she was gonna come down and surprise me to be at my shower, but she figured this way we could actually spend some QT! Best wedding present ever!!!
