So I am the world's most impatient person and this wedding has felt like it was FOREVER away pretty much the whole time, even though our official engagement was less than 9 full months (we knew we were getting married, so were planning before he gave me the ring, so we've been planning for about a year).
But now it's less than 2 weeks away! I think it took my family arriving in Italy and me leaving in less than a week to realize that my wedding is getting close. Still seems too far away, but we've done all we can do from here and now the race is on to get to Italy and finalize things! We've decided to make OOT bags, so that will be a bit hectic, but I'm hoping to have everything done by Monday (we arrive on Saturday), so I can actually do fun things with my family before the wedding events start.
We have a pasta cooking class Thursday night, then a pseudo bachelorette party.Friday is the city hall wedding at noon, rehearsal at 3, rehearsal dinner at 7 pm (at a castle outside the city).Saturday is the wedding.Sunday is brunch! And then we leave for our honeymoon in Nepal! I think I'm really excited for the plane flight - we splurged for business class on Emirates! I wish the flight was longer.
Oh, and did I mention how we're staying for a day in Dubai before we get to Italy and then after the honeymoon in Nepal and it's going to be at a GORGEOUS hotel! I'm usually too cheap to splurge like this, but we went all out for this. I love Dubai because I can buy things (for cheap) that they don't sell in Turkmenistan.
Ahhhhh!!! How am I going to get anything done at work this week?!
