Searching for destination

I am searching for a destination for my wedding, somewhere in the Caribbean or Mexico, but finding it very overwhelming to just search on the web in such a large area to just go through resorts one by one.  Any advice or great places you have found?

it depends on what you are looking for....I would narrow it down to an island first and then try to pick the resort.
Things to factor in are AI resorts vs. Non-AI, adults only resorts, do you want to go to a less populated island or do you want more things to do?, are you keeping costs down for your guests? (less expensive islands are jamaica, dominican, mexico), etc.

I'd like things for my guests to do and I'm open to AI as long as I can have some sort of customization, I don't want to just be handed a buquet and I'd certainly like to keep costs down for my guests.

Have you tried contacting a TA?
I used Hayley at BeachBum vacations. She was fantastic! and it doesn't cost anything to use her. May be worth a shot!
I'm sure she could steer you in the right direction depending on your wants & needs!
