Part two went well! Found out I am one of TWO candidates they are considering. I'm sooooooo nervous and have my fingers crossed. They said that they have never interviewed two people with such similar backgrounds and so suited for the position so I'm reallllllly extra nervous after hearing that. Excited they think the world of me and hoping they think better of me than they do my competition.
Oh......and get this.....I got there a half hour early and when I walked in my competition was waiting for her interview. I know her and she used to work for my old company
We both have experience in the field and both hold a masters level degree. Fortunately, after seeing her I was able to think of an area where I have a "leg up" and more experience so I tried to bring their focus to that as well as a couple of my other strengths.
They are looking to make a decision quickly so hopefully I'll know soon. Just sent off a thank you email to the two people I have email addresses for so hopefully she doesn't think to do that. LOL At this point I feel like something that small could genuinely put me ahead. Now I have to go all weekend stressed. Boooooo.
