Sooooo Frustrated

I just spent hours cutting and folding all the pages to my wedding invitation.

I have the cardstock cover and then the pages inside that are a thinner white paper.

Well, as I started to assemble them, I noticed that there is a spelling error on the inside cover!  I'm so upset with myself because I must have proof read this thing like 20 times. 

I'm a perfectionist and this really bothers me...but I've already spent so much time and money on these invites that I'm not sure if I should just leave them.  The spelling error is on the map that I have printed on the inside cover so it's not something that I think will be focused on, but I'm not sure.  To re-print will cost me about $40 and another 3 hours.  Which doesn't seem like alot, but I've spent about $350-400 on them already...

Here is what the inside cover looks like... the spelling error is that I spelled Dominican with an extra "n" (Dominincan)... It makes me sick typing it out.




What should I do???

Jen I honestly don't think it's noticeable. I barely noticed. I re-read things so many times and in my head it always looks right but sometimes I end up with a mistake too. I'm sure being a perfectionist it really bothers you but I don't see a huge with it. I'd say let it go.

Yeah most people will be so excited for all the other information/goodies in the invite, I'm sure they won't notice!

(I hate when stuff like this happens!!! GRRR!!))

I couldn't leave it. It would drive me crazy.  It would drive FI even more crazy so there's no way he would let me leave it.  He's one of those ppl that finds errors on menus. I get not wanting to spend more time and money, too though.

I'd leave it. I would've have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. It would bother me too but I'd just try to remember that probably no one will notice and if they do, they won't say anything!

I'm with Kimmy, I don't think I could leave it either.  Although, I really don't think anyone will really notice but it would drive me crazy just knowing it's on there.

I'm with Kimmy and Jennie, I would probably change it just because it would drive me nuts knowing it is there.

I think if you can afford it and have the necessary time you should change it.  It willl just give you peace of mind.  If you can't afford it or don't have the time I would leave it.  I probably myself would just leave it.  Everyone will be excited to be invited and not super critical of such a small error in my opinion.

Thanks everyone for your opinions.. FI told me to leave it, and I probably would just because there are sooo many (I'm making and sending 100 of them!). But it's killing me...

How stupid would it be to only re-print some of them and then just send my older family (the ones that I know would barely read the info much less notice the mistake)?
