Just got back from dropping of my dress with the seamstress.  This lady is amazing and charges next to nothing!  I've gone to her for two bridesmaid dresses to have them taken in and up, and each time they were only $18!  My friend went to her for her wedding dress and for it to be taken in, up, and bustled was only $75!

I won't get my lovely dress back until March 1st, but I know it's in good hands.

What a deal!  I have yet to get fitted for my dress.  Slacking, I know......

*Super jealous*...  for my dress to be taken in and bustled will be 160 bucks... stay with that lady and don't ever let her go

Oh yeah, I've got Rita stored in my phone and so do a few other friends.  Definitely anyone in the St. Louis area should take their stuff to her!

And Shelli, you've still got plenty of time for your dress.  What all do you need done?

Yay for affordable dress alterations! Mine was $200 and the did it wrong!

So jealous here too.  I think I win with the overpriced alterations at $550.  Makes me wanna vomit just thinking about it.

Thats a great deal! It always scares me to get things altered, I've some bad experiences in the past! I'm always looking for someone who can hem a pair of pants...I haven't even thought of anyone to alter a wedding dress once I go look

What an awesome deal Katie!  I always need to get pants hemmed and other random tailoring stuff.  I really like my seamstress, but think she is on the expensive side.  Can you email me your lady's info?
