It's official - I'm a registry stalker

Steve's boss just sent us both an email saying that he and his wife bought us a gift that we should be receiving soon. He wanted to make it clear that it was an engagement gift and not a wedding gift and that they are looking forward to celebrating our wedding with us in October.

First off-- How awesome? He totally didn't need to do that. We've both been working for him for years (Me freelance only, Steve freelance only for the first few years and then 2 years ago he got hired on full time) but still it's nothing I would have ever expected.

Second-- I just looked at our registry and sure enough two things are now purchased! Both purchased yesterday

Oh man I'm going to be unbearable if I keep this up

YAYYYY!!!  That's exciting. What did you get?!?

I need to decide what to do about my registry because I really want to take like half of it off of there, but I feel like people may be upset about it.  I don't want to be rude...but I really would prefer cash because I want a whole new bedroom furniture set.  I told my mom to spread the word about how I've had the same furniture since I was 1 and a half.  My parents were funny and gave me a king size bed, haha.

They got us a food processor and a slow cooker. They were the only two traditional registry items on there! lol

I'm excited to see what I can do with the slow cooker. I bought an entire cookbook of slow cooker recipes a year ago and still never got around to buying one.

That is awesome!  I will be a stalker right along with you--I check it every other week or so in hopes of a surprise gift, but not so much lol!  What a great boss!

Yay for gifts! You will love your slow cooker, especially in the winter! We haven't had anyone buy anything from ours yet, which is fine...we really want furniture money. Sarah - a king size bed...really?! lol
