Marival Resort and Suites Puerto Vallarta

Has anyone been to or planning a wedding at this resort.  I contacted them today and I really like their pricing.  The resort seems very nice as well.

Re: Marival Resort and Suites Puerto Vallarta

  • Hi there! Old married here. :) I got married at Dreams PV and honeymooned at Marival Residences. So I was also able to experience Marival Suites. Giving my biased opinion, the resort is really nice with a lot to do but I don't think it was as nice as Dreams. Dreams has their own private beach and is really close to the downtown area. Marival is in Nuevo Vallarta and is further away from the downtown section. If you like taking long walks on the beach, you will love Nuevo Vallarta. We enjoyed Dreams more because the resort was more intimate. With that being said, Marival is a great option, we just didn't prefer it over Dreams. But that is obviously just our personal preference. Have you also checked out Vallarta Palace?

  • I wanted to go to Dreams but they are not available for the two dates that I requested.  :) I saw this resort as another option.  It seems nice and has a lot of options for things to do.  I am going to have all types of people coming, families, singles, couples.  I want to be sure the resort is nice.
  • Hi, I'm getting married on Puerto Vallarta too, but I chose the Vallarta Palace.

  • I also looked into Vallarta Palace.  Can you tell me about their wedding packages.  I wanted to choose a place that is not super expensive for guest.  I have a lot of people flying from Philadelphia and it seems like the flights are soo expensive.
  • I'm using their complimentary package, which includes the ceremony and a dinner reservation for up to 25 people at one of their restaurants (and you get some cool perks too). Depending on how many rooms and nights your guests book, you can get free private functions too. I will for sure have a free cocktail hour and maybe even a private reception dinner. Check out their website http://www.palaceresorts.com/vallartapalace/. So we are basically just paying for our stay and tickets(our tickets are around $600 each from Indianapolis), and we might even get a few free nights.
I know my guests will pay an average of $150 per person per night (double room) and they (and you too) also get the free resorts credit (depends on how many days you stay, we are getting $1500). You should definitely talk to someone from Beach Bum Vacations! They are so helpful and free! And they can work with your budget to get exactly what you want. I'm working with Kristin, she's awesome!
