Help! Looking for information on the Riveria Maya area in Mexico!!

Hello Ladies!
   I am working on planning my destination wedding. I have decided to do in the the Riveria Maya/Playa del Carmen area. I have it down to 2 resorts the Playacar Palace and The Royal in Playa del Carmen. Has any one gotten married or is getting married at either of these resorts!?! I just want to make sure I am making the right decision!!

We're getting married at Now Jade Riviera Cancun & honeymooning at the Grand Sunset Princess Hotel. Both are in Riviera Maya & look gorgeous. Can't wait to go!

I am looking into the Royal Playa del Carmen and it's sister resort if we decide to do DW which is more affordable The Gran Porto Real are both great place and get good reviews on tripadvisor.com as wells as www.bestdestinationwedding.com. For the Riveria Maya The Royal is ranked number one on best destination wedding website. I think it would be a great place to get married. The location is great right off 5th avenue with all the clubs and shops. If we decide to do a DW The Royal is one of my top choices. However I am leaning towards their sister resort The Gran Porto Real it's more affordable. If you want more information on The Roayl or Playcar Palace I recommend going to www.bestdesinationwedding.com. I would just do a search for those resorts and tons of thereads come up. You get information from previous brides and present.  The Royal on that site is ranked number one for the best resort in the Playa del Carmen and Gran Porto Real is in the top ten. The Royal has nothing but great review and  it's location can't be beat right off 5th avenue near the shops and night clubs. I hope this helps.
