Talk about craziness! Since we got engaged (in July) we arranged for a travel agent to coordinate our guests' stay. The prices were somewhat reasonable for a single person, but were a tad pricey for families, since it's an all inclusive resort and everybody's stay is per person. Meaning at least $500 for each family member to stay in the same room, instead of dividing a room fee.
Anywho, our save the dates went out. One person booked. Our invites went out. One more person booked. Then the other Monday, my fiance's aunt sent an email that Bookit.com was having an amazing Cyber Monday deal on our resort. The rooms were only $99 a night and only required $100
per room as a deposit. The only catch was that we had to book right then & there, before midnight.
So literally EVERYONE was on the phone like mad. Calling from the west & east coast. By the time midnight came around we had a total of
50 guests booked!!!! Those who weren't able to jump on it still have the option to book through our original agent. But we were SO excited that this allowed ao many people from our list to come!
