I love feather bouquets!!!  FI's cousins wife had one (they got married in Vegas) and it was red and white and was absolutely beautiful!  I say if it's in the budget and you love it, DO IT!  Pictures will be so cool AND it's different!

This is what I would like to do too.  I've contemplated trying to make one.  I found these sites for buying feathers and have also read that Joanne Fabrics has them........http://www.save-on-crafts.com/feathers1.http........http://www.ostrich.com/

In the research I've done I've found that you can buy the feathers, secure them into a flower with floral tape (the blue ones in the picture you posted) and then make the bouquet just like you would a silk flower bouquet buying the plastic handle and the foam ball to stick the feathers into.  Sticking in loose feathers as well.  I need to go look at prices to decide if it's worth trying to attempt or if it'll be better just to buy!

I have a friend who did feather and had some roses in it too.  It was gorgeous and totally her. DO IT

I'm going to do it, I researched more and found this really amazing turquoise and black one. While they aren't my colors...I think it looks amazing. Though, I do love the purple one.
