How far in advance

did you/are you setting up your dress fitting appointments?

I think I need to make my appointments, but I don't want to keep seeming like the over anxious bride who makes all her appointments way in advance.

I asked the salon, she said it depends on what you need done.  I only need a bustle and a hem, and she said a month would be fine, but would reccomend two months out just in case.

I asked the salon too. I think I made my first appt in Sept & our wedding was in November.

We leave Feb 27th, and I just had my fitting last week.  That being said, the lady pretty much said she wouldn't do it until about a week before I'm supposed to have my pickup/2nd fitting, because if i lose weight she doesn't want to have to do it twice.  So, if its okay, with your seamstress, I would do it a month out, unless they take a really long time, or you need something complicated done.
