Slideshow - anyone doing one?

We always get pumped to see wedding slideshows at Rehearsal dinners or weddings and have been considering doing one ourselves!  So, I decided to go to youtube yesterday and just type in "Wedding Slideshow"  This is what popped up, which brought me to the girl's website!  These are freaking hilarious!  I got in touch with the girl who produces them and I think we're going to go for it and play it at the actual wedding... Check it out!

Awesome! My Aunt put one on at my first wedding for me. Everyone loved it. I did it during dinner. I think they are great.

OMG that video was adorable!  Now I am debating about looking into them doing one for us but I don't know how much it would cost to rent the equipment at our resort... humm decisions, decisions.  LOL!  O and ps I totally love the girls outfit in the last couple frames of the video!  The tan skirt and tank... totally fabulous!  Can't wait to see yours if you get one!

Tanq&Tonic

We did one.  It was about 5-6 minutes.  The first half had photos of our childhood, mostly in embarrassing moments, and ones of family & friends in attendance.  The 2nd half was a video we filmed of ourselves, kind of interview style, talking about how we met, how he proposed, etc.  We shot it with the help of some friends, and edited it ourselves at home.

I hadn't seen something like the clip you posted, but it's cute!  I think it might be a little over the top for my style, but if it fits yours, it's definitely different!

Did you gals ever see the Inception / Reception video?  This couple had what looked like a "Same day edit" of their wedding played before their entrance into the reception.  But instead it turned into a spoof on Inception the movie, and then they entered the reception in a helicopter.  I can't find it anywhere online anymore, but here's a short trailer showing some scenes: http://vimeo.com/24396506

One of the coolest takes on a video I've seen in a while.  And undoubtedly, very pricey!!

We aren't doing one.  But, you should if it's something you want.  We will have a slideshow just of our wedding photos going at the AHR, but nothing for the actual wedding or rehearsal dinner.
