FL wedding on the beach

Hello, i have a questions, not sure if this is the right place to ask, or should i be asking this elsewhere.
How did you find all your vendors? Did you have a planner who organized everything? We will be visiting the area sometime in March, but i would like to find someone prior to our visit so we can actually meet them in person. We will be looking for someone to help us with beach permits and set up, we also looking for a DJ, Florist and photographers.
We would prefer all local vendors, we wont be flying anyone in.

I am getting married on Cocoa Beach right before our cruise leaves out.  We hired a wedding planner who has been amazing and is a one stop shop.  I would highly recommend her.  At least give her a call.

I recommend hiring a planner but if you don't want to, check out the local boards and see the vendor recommendations.

We are thinking about Siesta or Longboat key, just wanted to see how the process is done, what to look for or who to avoid.

I just got married on Sietsa Key 11/11/11!  It was amazing!  I worked with floridaweddings.com and they did just about everything.  I can let you know where we stayed and other vendors I used if you'd like!  Just let me know!

We got married on Anna Maria Island in June.  We used Sand Petal Weddings and they were fabulous!!  We planned everything from out of town and it was better than we could have ever imagined.
