aaargh: Hair & Make-Up (Long)

I have posted before, and while I have selected my Hair & Make-Up Artist...I am having second thoughts about the make-up. It's so frustrating! While I loooooove the air-brush she did on me, i am not loving my eyes. I have big eyes and there is a fine line between dramatic/wow/sexy/pretty, and dramatic/wow/doll/scary when I have had my make-up done in the past. While she is super talented, I hated my eyes & fake lashes (my mom is convinced she put them on wrong) and she just didn't capture the look I wanted. Not sure if I should pay for another trial with her ($40) or go with someone else for a trial. Money is very tight but I also can't see paying over $200 for hair & make-up for just me. She is charging me $85 + $35 for travel - which was fantastic. So I am trying to stay around that price... any suggestions?

History of ENDO and ovarian cysts, currently have 1 Myoma on left ovary - but it's shrinking, yea! Clomid 100mg since Jan 2011, trigger 4/5, 1st IUI 4/7, 1 mature follie, progesterone = BFN
SHG 5/2 = all clear
IUI#2 on Mother's Day 5/8, no trigger, 2 mature follies, progesterone = BFN

    My mom has the pics. I didn't keep them because I didn't like them. At the time, I was happy when the make-up artist did it (with the exception of my eyes but I thought I didn't like my eyes because of the fake lashes), the air-brushing came out fantastic, but now when I look at the pics...I don't like the eyes at all.  You know, I emailed Foxy 2x when I first began looking months ago, buy never got a response. Maybe I will try again. Thanks!

    I like my make up person, Chez Murphy, but she's just make up and more than the amount you mentioned. If I were you, I'd ask for a second, abbreviated trial with your current MUA - maybe ask if she can just charge you $20 or so just to redo the eyes?
