hi all!!! i recently got engaged 2 weeks ago. my fiance and i reside in NYC but we plan on having the wedding in san francisco, so i am a native bay area resident. My fiance is catholic, i am not. it is important that we get married in a roman catholic church. can anyone suggest a great roman catholic church in san francisco, that will marry us? thanks!!!!!

Congrats on getting engaged!! =) I don't live in the bay area unfortunately but I would just advise you to pinpoint an area in SF that you'd want to get married in since there are so many different sub areas and then do a google search as to Catholic churches around that area. =) Good luck and happy planning!

I'm not sure what their marriage policies are, but St. James on Guerrero and 23rd is an awesome parish with a very progressive priest. It's not the fanciest church but it's very cute and would probably make for some cool pictures.
