MY DRESS IS HERE!!!! EEEEK! AND...I need opinions

My dress arrived and she is BEAUTIFUL!!! I could stare at it all day!




AND...we are taking our engagement photos this weekend (finally!). I wore a dress to work today to get opinions about whether it is engagement photo appropriate. My secretary "pinned" me on pinterest. HA. Look at the link and tell me if you think it will work for photos. THANKS!!!!

I think your E-pic dress is gorgeous.  The only advice I have is for FI to wear something solid.  I think two separate prints will be detract from the photos.

I also think that dress would look stunning with red shoes, but maybe that's just because I love red shoes.

And also, I LOVE YOUR WEDDING DRESS!

I like the other dress also, but I think I read on a photographer's blog somewhere to stay away from stripes, because they can be distracting in photos and it leads your eye away from your faces and also because it can make people look wider even if they aren't (not that I think yours does!), but I might ask your photographer what (s)he thinks.

I do like your e-pic dress, but I'm not sure if I like for e-pics.  It's a very pretty dress and it looks great on you, but I would worry about the strips being distracting.  Maybe you could look around and see if you can find other e-pics where the people wore strips and see if it looks good to you.  If it does, then go for it!

I am with Cbear and Ystaal.... the dress is beautiful however I am not sure how it would come across in E-pics.  It all depends on what FI wears and where you are going to take your pics, I think.  Will you have other outfits that you are wearing? If so keep this as one of your options.  If not talk to your photographer and see what they think.

Your e-pic dress is so cute! But I also think it might be too busy...my eye would probably go to it right away instead of looking at both of you as a couple...but it would depend on what he's wearing too. It might look awesome in black and white pics!
