Anyone else getting married the same day? I know its on a thursday and its a hard day to have a wedding on. Thats why we picked it haha we have such a big family we wanted less people to come is that bad??? Just everyone and there mother has a comment to say about us doing it on a thursday!

We are getting married that day too.  We did it because we liked the date and it fit well into our work schedule.  It is a DW so not too many people have commented about it being on a Thursday.

That's our day, also! A lot of FIs family is coming in for it, and they just consider a good reason for a family reunion weekend (he's Hispanic, they do that a lot anyway lol), and most of our friends are locals, so the day works out nicely.

My FI and I are also getting married that day. We love the date and have almost been pushed to change it because of the "inconvenience" it poses to our would be guests. However, we stood our ground and it has really helped with our budget because of it being a weekday and because our guest list will be relatively small.

I was really surprised, I thought that since it was a Thursday I wouldn't have a problem securing the date...

Wow, was I surprised!  I had a friend call me and tell me to book right away since all the spots were filling up and we're getting married in Las Vegas!  I know it's a different story out there, but since it's a "specialty" date, they will be busy there that day.  I love it!

My FI wanted this date so badly, there was NO WAY I was going to argue.  I think it's pretty cool and so does everyone else.  Who cares about it being a Thursday?
