Last month, I joined a 30-day challenge at the gym I go to, in hopes to really kick it in gear, get in there and work my tail end off. I was doing well the first couple weeks, getting in there 4 times a week, but the last couple weeks, I have been so busy I only got in there twice each week, however, I did purchase an exercise mat and dumbells and have been trying to exercise in my free time in the office (i'm the only person in there or I wouldn't be doing this). Well today I went in for the weigh-in and measurements to see how I did, and I thought for sure the results weren't going to be good, I felt like I could have done so much better. First she took my weight, and I had gained 2 lbs, so I was ready to throw this challenge out the door. Then she took my measurements, and I had lost 13 total inches all over my body and my BMI went down! I ended up finishing towards the top of the list of participants (35 of us). That made my day, I hope I can keep the motivation now!
