I wish I could be demanding

with my BMs and their dresses.  I wish I could pick the one I like the most, pick it in my color, and make them wear it.

But I can't.  Because my sister is my MOH and she's very anti-dress, and so I'm trying to make her as comfortable as possible.... Which is super difficult and makes me want to scream.  My other BM doesn't care what dress we pick, style, etc, etc., so I need to find one that my sis likes and basically order 2.  Blah.

For your sister, what about a nice pants suit? I know its not a dress but it might be a compromise since she's giving you a hard time. This will also help to make her stand out.

O my goodness I feel your pain. I just went through this with my sister yesterday. I have no advice because I am at a loss for what to do as well. She has been a pain through this whole entire engagement and I just cannot wait for it to be over with so I don't have to deal whith her childishness anymore!!

Is she anti all dresses? Or are her specifications about the dress just very strict? Would she be willing to go out by herself and pick a dress, that way no one else is having to say anything during the whole process. I know with my siter, if you say you like it she automatically hates it and vice versa... do you have to be involved? It might be less stress on you to just send her off to do it on her own if she'd be willing.

I agree with Kallen about the pant suit.  If she gets a pair of pants that are flowy material it could look really close to a dress.

We will definitely consider the pants suit!  She sat down with me today at the Alfred Angelo website and we went through every.single.bridesmaid dress on there- to both of our surprise, we found about 10 that we both liked, and that came in the right color.  But now the fun part is trying on said dresses..... Blah.

I'll definitely consider a pant suit or skirt/top though!  Thanks ladies!
