I saw that you're going on a cruise - what cruise line and where are you leaving from? DH and I are researching cruises right now and I'm looking for some insight...

TIA :) PS - have a great time!

We are going out of Baltimore (no air fare!) with Carnival.  Neither of us have been on  a cruise, but we are really excited.  I heard Royal Caribean is better, but they only had 9-12 day cruises in March from b-more.  We're upgrading to a balcony only because with his military discount it's the same after taxes as the windowless room.

I'll definitely let you know more when I get back.  When are you thinking about going?  departing from?

We're looking at Bahamas or Bermuda. Probably June (of course the price is jacked way up then!) And we're looking to leave from NY or MD (same deal with the lack of flight!)

So far, we're thinking Norwegian. But there are some really cheap Carnival options too. So I dunno! This would be our first cruise too :)

Oh wow, I just checked the prices for June!  I think we are going for 1500 for both of us.  We are going in March since both of our bdays are in March and I'd rather go on vacation then exchange gifts.  My friend went out of NY and said it was a blast.

Honestly from what I heard from others, you'll have fun no matter what cruise line.  Some people are cruise line snobs, I just want to see if we like cruises in general.  Then we'll try the other cruise lines if we like it.
