Fired our unprofessional "professional" musicians! How long would you have tolerated this

They took a ridiculous amount of time responding to our emails. I'm not waiting another 22 days for a response...I feel horrible but FI and I both felt like they were being unprofessional. If my venue won't allow anyone else I'd rather trust my iPhone to my wedding music than a group that can't respond to simple emails in a timely manner! How long would you wait to here back from someone? I felt like I was being generous for waiting a week but 16 days...then 22 days! What's next a whole darn month! Come on now!!!! We cant trust them to actually show up. I'm waiting to here back from my wedding coordinator but there is NO WAY I'm giving these people a 4th chance. Three strikes and your out, right?

This happens all the time with in house vendors they know they are the only approved vendor so they pull this crap and ignore people that they know have no other choice. Talk to your vendor about what happend make them aware of what they are doing to their clients ask (beg?) to be able to use another vendor threten to go elsewhere even(with no intentions of going).

I would never wait that long to get back to someone.  That's awful.

My wedding coordinator understood and is searching for a replacement. I really hope that we could find someone on the island that is available for our date! This blows! If I were getting paid $2k+ for a few hours I'd return a darn email zippity quick!

i agree with PP you need to let your venue person know (i know you already did but just giving my opinion lol) the venue is putting themselves on the line by approving of these musicians and are bringing them lots of business they should be respectful of you bc the bride ...eer and groom need to be happy bc come on we are on the knot we share bad vendor opinions like wildfire! glad u got it taken care of and good luck finding other musician

Well that's good the coordinator is helping you out. As far as threatening to walk from he venue, I wouldn't threaten anything you aren't fully prepared to do. The venue could always call your bluff.
