Nursing Graduation Gift Ideas?!

FI's sister is graduating with her nursing degree in a few weeks and we're struggling to come up with a great gift idea! FI wants it to be extra special, but of course his only input is how amazing and non-birthday/Christmas like it has to be! We normally get her spa gift certificates or bath products/make-up. She's moving back home so our original idea of apartment stuff doesn't really work anymore. We bought an amazing nursing graduation card from Target (I was so excited to find something so specific - pretty sure they didn't make those when I graduated!) but now we need an equally amazing gift to match it LOL - any ideas ladies?

I am a nurse, and I think an awesome idea would be a really great stethoscope. Litman is the brand I recommend. If you don't want to get her something work related, I think the spa gift card would be great. Nursing school is really hard core, and she probably wants to relax. Or maybe a night or two at a really nice B&B. You cold also get her a nice watch (maybe a Fossil) that she could use for work.

I second Brittney. I'm not a nurse but the stethoscope was the first thing I thought of.  They make them in colors right?  Maybe get one in her favorite color?

I was originally thinking about something work related but FI wasn't sure what she already has - is the stethoscope something you'd just buy online? I really like that idea! Thanks

I am a nurse too and I agree with pp on a nice watch or a littman stethoscope. Also, maybe a gift card for a local scrub store. scrubs sometimes tend to be expensive, some are 70 a set!

This is the site used, and they're on sale! I recommend getting it engraved...stethoscopes get "borrowed" all the time.

I'm graduating in a few weeks from nursing school too! I would love a new stethscope they come in all kinds of colors and you could get them engraved too. or the giftcard to a srcub store.

I'm in nursing school and I have Littman. But that being said, I would love a brand new one when I graduate with an engraved nameplate in it. Or I second the giftcard to a scrubs store. If her school is like mine, she'll have had to wear a certain colour of scrubs that identify her as a student. She may be dying to buy cute scrubs.
