Selling my brooch bouquet :( Early Decision Regret

I'm a little sad to be selling it, mainly because of the time and effort it took me to make it, but I really don't want it anymore.  I like it and all, but I'm not in love with it.  I got a little too excited when we first got engaged and made it thinking it would be perfect, but what I really want is a real floral bouquet with brooches.  I'm not a patient person, and I wanted it then and there, so I made the next best thing.   

Oh well, at least I am making a little profit on it!  

Now that we are closer to the wedding date, I am realizing that some of the things I made or decisions that we went with weren't the right ones.  Anyone else regret their earlier plans/decisions?

I have been battling dress "regret" for a while. I put regret in quotations because sometimes I remember why I love it, and sometimes I consider burning it. (it was a comment FI made, so hopefully i will forget all about it soon). Also, thinking FI and I agreed that our colours would be red and white, I bought out the leftover stock of anything red at the dollar store the day after Valentine's day (candles and etc.). Last month after asking FI to help me sort through it, he asks why it is all red. Then informs me he has no memory of agreeing to red and white, and wants other colours.

Oh, I love brooch boquets. I would have gone that route if I had started earlier.

Eh, my only regret is planning my budget including what my future in laws offered to contribute. Now its getting later and later and the check hasn't been handed over and its making me nervous.

Here are a couple of pictures.  I plan on getting some of the same brooches from the place I bought from originally and putting those in my real flower bouquet when I make it.  My mom, two of my bridesmaids and I are putting all the flowers together for the wedding.

FI and I had originally planned to do pumpkin centerpieces. Then in October I had an unfortunate incident while carving a pumpkin that involved a trip to the ER and 7 stitches in my finger. Pumpkin centerpieces were scrapped. For the most part though, I don't have any regrets. We've been smart about making decisions after thinking about it. I know the urge to do everything right away.

It's not a big regret, but I guess it would our venue and their food selection.  I LOVE our venue and am very excited about it, but I'm pissed about how much the food is going to cost us.  We are kind of in between a rock and a hard place, and I don't know how much negotiating we will be able to do, but it's definitely made me the most stressed because as we get closer, our list #s aren't going down!!

Our venue. It's a barn which is what I wanted. However, it's a very large, very empty barn. I like that I get to decorate it however I want, but we have to bring in everything . . . tables, chairs, decorations, heaters, bathroom, catering, alcohol, etc. That has all made it more expensive and more stressful than we originally anticipated. Oh well, it is what is it now. At least I got my barn.

The broach boquet is beatuiful!  I am starting to wish I had gone that route, but my whole decor and color scheme was chosen based on the flowers.  

I am partially regretting my dress because when I tried it on I thought it was a champagne color, but now that its come in I realize that it is a blush nude.  My colors are burgundy and burnt orange and I worry how this will look with the pink tones of my dress, plush I really dont like pink.  I am tring to keep telling myself that its not really pink, its just a rosey hued nude.  I cant afford to buy a new dress, so I am stuck with it.  I also thought my blusher on my veil would be longer than it is and so I dont love it as much as I hoped either.

Our choice of immigration lawyer. That was a pretty big one :P
I'm starting to wonder about the decision to do our own centerpieces instead of getting the florist to do that, but they are pretty so it's ok
