Any other couples choose to have their wedding on 10-11-2012?
I chose that because it's sounds cool saying 10-11-12 and you can't really forget that sequence of numbers for an anniversry.
Unfortunately it falls on a Thursday and since we're on a tight budget it works for me, but I had to convince my FI to go along with it and when I mention it to invited guests they shutter at the thought of a wedding on a Thursday?
I told my FI that with a years notice people will have plenty of time to schedule time off, most people get paid vacation days anyways. Plus if people want to attend, they will. But I'm getting tired of telling people that in order to have a nice wedding with our budget I have to have it on a thursday.
Anyone else come across issues like this? Or am I making it an issue in my head
