Flower girl dress

I was wanting to do a tutu for my flower girl dress.  The ceremony is in a church, and she is 6 but is small for a 6 year old.  Is that unappropriate for a church wedding?  I need feedback!  The FGs mom sent me a dress she liked but I didn't like it at all.  I just politely told her it was pretty, but it wasn't really what I was looking for.

I think 6 is too old for a tutu. I've only seen tutus on very young flower girls, like 2-3 year olds.

Agreed! i think 6 is too old for a tutu! my fg will be turning 5 the month after the wedding and i think she is too old for a tutu!  if the dress isnt what you want maybe you can find a differant dress for her!

my flower girls are 3, 4 and 6 (small 6 year old).

They're wearing Tutus but the top looks more like the top of a dress, not so much the leotard tops that most wear with the tutus, someone is custom making them for me.  My wedding ceremony is in a church.

I don't have the image on this computer but it resembles this picture alot, longer so it has the feel of a tutu but its not the ones you typically see on younger girls.

that will look fine on an older girl--- i dont think that is what people think of when you say tutu. tutus are short  and stick out!  yours will be more like a dress!
