Outdoor event space in or near Old Town, Alexandria?

I'm looking for a [free] space to host a very low-key brunch in or near Old Town Alexandria, preferably walkable from King Street. It doesn't need to be fancy, I just need a few picnic tables or something to that effect. Any ideas?
