PSA Jeanette's Bridal may be closing

I ordered my dress from them in July, expecting it b/t November and January. I got a letter from Jeanette's yesterday that they're trying to sell the store and may be closing if they can't find a buyer. I'm calling them today about my order. Just a heads up if you bought your dress from them.

    OH NO!  My BMs dressed and gown are ordered though them suposed to arrive in Nov/Dec.I Didnt get the letter yet, please let me know what they say when you call today.

    I just spoke to them, she said that their plan is to close in early February if they haven't found a buyer. She checked my card and said my dress should be in the first week of December. She also said that if they can't fill anybody's order, they are calling them now to let them know. I'd suggest calling to confirm when your BM dresses are expected in.

    Thanks!  I think she said my BMs dresses were expected in Nov. and the Gown by December.So I am not going to freak out (yet)!  :)ThanksB

    WOW! That's amazing it's such a popular shop. I almost got my dress from them. I hope everyone can get their dresses with no problems.

    WOW I can't belive it!! I got my dress from them and they were incredible! That's such a shame. Good luck to anyone who's getting a dress through them...guess it'd be a good time to go buy some sample dresses on clearance?

    I was actually looking at dresses there last week with a few of my BMs. My mother couldn't make it last week, so I dragged her out today to Jeanette's so she could see my favorites from last week before it's too late. I ended up getting a Casablanca sample dress for only $440 (almost $800 normally) and I got a gorgeous Swarovski headpiece as well. I'm so sad to hear that they are closing after 30 years of being in business. They are all such sweet people and Christa is an amazing wedding dress consultant. I am so happy and I'm glad that I was able to get a fantastic price for a FABULOUS dress.
