I bought my dress!

After visiting several boutiques in the area I ordered my dress on Saturday.  I fell in love with the dress a few weeks ago and just wanted to see if anything could top it, but nothing could.  I ordered the Allure 8862 at Rosalin's Bridal in Falls Church.  The boutique is really small, but they have a great selection and their prices are a couple hundred dollars cheaper than most of the salons in the area.  I would highly recommend looking at Rosalin's especially if you are intrested in Allure or Maggie Sottero.  It's a family-owned business and they are really friendly.  They've also been in business for 25 years.

Re: I bought my dress!

  • Congrats! I love Maggie Sottero dresses and keep looking for boutiques that carry her line. So far, every boutique I have gone to the consultant seems uninterested and tries to get me to buy the first dress that I try on and tends to try and sway me from trying on more than one dress. I'm looking for a boutique where the consultant makes it a fun time like it should be and don't mind you trying as many dresses as need until you find "the one"! Was Rosalin's like this? Thanks!

Ellie's Bridal in Alexandria is definitely like that! Love them and recommend them to everyone! Ask for Marie for an especially good time :)

When I went to Rosalin's I had pretty much already decided on my dress but she did pull a few more for me to try.  She was very good at pulling dresses that I liked and she will give you her honest opinion about the dresses if you want it.  She carries a lot of Maggie dresses and I'm sure she wouldn't mind you trying on as many as you want.  She is not pushy at all and let me stand in each dress for as long as I wanted to think about each of them.  Her store is really small though so theres no space to come out and show everyone the dresses instead she has a pedestal in a very large fitting room and brings everyone into the fitting room to see each dress.
