Buying Wine & Beer in Bulk

Hi,I live in LA and am getting married in DC in September.  I'll be buying my own alcohol....what's the best avenue to go here?  Costco?  Trader Joes?  Local liquor stores?  The wedding is in the NW area near American University.  I'll be in DC in May for a visit and am thinking of buying the wine and beer then, even.  Approx 70 people expected, half of them Irish so I need to buy more alcohol than normal!

    You chould at least contact Ace Beverage. The store is near American University, and they will deliver. They'll also let you return the unopened bottles after the event. Even though we live on the other side of town, this is our go-to liquor store.

    Total Beverage (not sure the closest to you) also will let you return any unopened wine/champagne.  I also received a 10% discount and I didn't even buy that much compared to most weddings.  I only bought 4 cases of wine/champagne total.
