The Grand Atrium - Vienna, VA

I was planning on getting married in a Church and the latest time my church does ceremonies is at 2pm.  

I was talking to the Grand Atrium and they have 2 events there everyday.  They said the earliest they can accomodate a 2pm ceremony was at 7:00pm!

There is going to be a serious gap in between the ceremony & reception.  Has anyone run into this problem? what are you going to do?

I have the same problem but hav eno idea what i'm going to do! Not helpful but now you know you're not alone :-P

I'm having my wedding at the Grand Atrium as well.  Fortunately our ceremony is a little later.  Could you talk to your church and move the ceremony up to be earlier so you could book the afternoon slot at the Grand Atrium?

Oh I hadn't thought of that issue.  Here's hoping my church will let me do the wedding at the time I want.  I just took my dad over the Grand Atrium to see it.  He loved it!  That's my leading contender for a venue right now.

Since you already have the wedding, can I ask you a question. Since I'm getting ready for mine next year. How much it cost to Rent the Grand Atrium? what the capacity that it can handle cuz I have about 300 guests. and do they allow me to bring in my own Catering Vendor? Thank you so much any help would be awesome :-)

I just put in my deposit with them the other day.  I believe their max capacity is 190
