This is one thing that has been stressing me (and my mom!) out because we are getting close to the wedding. Last Thursday, we booked our baker! We decided on a 5 tier cake sized 18", 15", 12", 9" and 6". Every other tier starting from the bottom (so 1, 3, and 5) will be yellow cake, with a peach filling, and cream cheese icing. The other two layers (plus 1/2 sheet cake) will be chocolate cake with either a Kahlua or Amaretto filling and cream cheese icing. PIB if you want to see the design! The peach filling was so good that my mom kept licking the plate! I am so excited about our cake. We still have to do another tasting for the Kahlua and Amaretto fillings because I didn't know our baker could make them when I scheduled our tasting. What is everyone else doing for your cake?
