Garden Venues with Water North Atlanta and Georgia

Hello,

My fiance and I are looking for Venues in and around Atlanta with Gardens and Water.  We looked at Villa Christina and loved it but want to compare to a few others.  Villa is probably on the high end of our budget.  Our target date is late May, early June of 2012.

We are thinking of looking at pristine gardens and big canoe in Jasper.  Ideally we want to find 5-6 places to compare.

Any other suggestions to look at???

Sorry - no help here   I only know of places with either water or gardens.  What about the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, or if you want to travel a little ways, Callaway Gardens?

I think I may be confused I was looking for water, like fountains or pounds in a natural setting.  No stuffy country clubs, more natural type settings.

Barnsley gardens would be great, but is out of our price range.

Have you looked at any of Georgia's State Parks?

I'm getting married at the State botanical Gardens in Athens.  I don't know what water they have there; there is a conservatory with a waterfall that is used for events.  It's a little out of Atlanta though.

I'm getting married at Big Canoe! It is absolutely gorgeous there! I don't have any other suggestions though because that was only one of two places I looked at in GA to get married at.

Windermere Golf Club is where I am getting married. They have a big lake and a willow tree for their ceremony. Its gorgeous!

Have you looked at the Ravinia Club in Sandy Springs? My sister got married there and they have an very nice unsuspecting garden and water/river area.
