    OMG! I"m so excited that I am KOTW!! I just told my FI... and no response! Oh well, here it goes!!!

    Names of the couple? Anne and Jason

    Wedding Date? 07-17-10 (68 days!!)

    How old are you? Your FI? me- 30 him- 32

    Occupations and dream occupations of the couple? short term- I want to be a reading specialist in an Elementary School-- long term, college professor teaching teachers about reading! him-- college professor teaching nothing but Rome and Greece (gag, gag!)

    How long have you been dating? over 2 years (my longest ever!)

    Where did the you meet? Yahoo Personals

    What was your first impression of your FI? The first time he saw me his smile was sooo big! It lit up his whole face! I'll never forget it... I hope that's what he looks like when he sees me walking down the aisle!

    Most exciting thing about wedding planning so far? We are having a flash mob! (google it)  --also, my students are lining the aisle and handing me my bouquet one flower at a time as I go down!!!

    Any wedding-related challenges yet? many! right now, we got 10 less invitations than we ordered! The other current problem is that my FMIL is very controlling and the RD is going to suck!

    Have you gotten the dress yet? If so, pic please! If not, post some that you like! yes, see below

    Any favorite vendors yet? they are all great right now, I'll let you know AFTER!

    Colors or theme? robin's egg blue and chocolate-- theme is books

    What are your top three wedding-related priorities? as of today: get a makeup artist, get transportation company, make BM gifts, I could go on, but I'll spare you!

    Any children yet or furbabies? nope, and nope!

    Kids at wedding? just at the ceremony (see above) -- the reception is ADULT only!

    Where are you honeymooning? RIO baby!

    Favorite book? Eat, Pray, Love

    Favorite movie? I have terrible ADD and can't sit through a movie! ha! I hate them!

    Favorite tv show? Modern Family (best show ever!)

    Favorite wedding dress designer? Vera Wang (but mine isn't!)

    What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't? My grandpa is a Methodist minister and he was going to do my wedding. He is 92 and it turns out that he just won't be able to get from Maryland down here, and that is devastating! But now we're hiring a videographer (add to answer above about things to do!)

    I know many of you aren't as close as I am to your date... I would be more than willing to answer any and all questions that I can help out with! And YES! I will post pics after!

    Thanks for all your kind words! Being knotie of the week is the best!

    About the FLASH MOB -- I'm not totally sure that its happening but I hope to plan it on my bachlorette party weekend with my girls! I have a dancer girl friend (doesn't everyone?).. she'll make it up. Anyway-- we are having ONE yes ONE practice the day before the wedding and then just seeing how it goes!! My FI doesn't think it will actually happen... but I'm on a mission!!!


    YasJas-- we are like long lost knottie sisters! You are so far along for 13 months! I'm all about a long engagement!!

    cutypie you are 1-1-1 today! 1 month, 1 week and one 1 day since! I love your thrown rose petals....even if my venue won't let me, I'm going to stage that somewhere else!! haha!

    I've had Eat, Pray, Love for at least two years now...you have motivated me to blow the dust off and read it. It was a slow start for me and I lost interest.
