Reception help

Can you guys provide any information regarding reception halls in the Atlanta, Catersville, North GA area. I am having such a time finding anything reasonable for a buffet style reception for around 300 people. Is there one in particular that is well known for being nice, yet affordable.

    I know Biltmore Ballrooms can accomodate a large amount of people but they are a bit pricey. All of the places we looked at couldn't hold that many people so, other than that I dont have any recs..sorry!

    What kind of venue are you interested in?  The larger spaces can range anywhere from hotel ballroom to aquarium to loft space.  Do you want to bring in your own caterer, use one provided from venue, or choose from a list?  The cost of food can also significantly affect the venue.  I guess more specifically, what price range are you looking at for the venue fee and catering?  That might help us give you some better answers.
