Wedding Videographer is a Must!

My daughter's wedding was on December 19, 2009 and was absolutely beautiful!  I want to encourage any brides who are in doubt as to whether to hire a videographer to do it!!!  My daughter didn't seem to care one way or the other so I hired one that was recommended by her photographer.  I am SO glad I did!
Your day will pass in a blur and the video is just a wonderful reminder of the day.  Here's a link for the company we used.  They are based in Columbia, SC but will work in SC, GA, and NC.  (her wedding was in Charleston, SC)

I still don't understand the video thing.  Are you really going to watch a video of your wedding ever again?  Photograph it by all means but speaking from experience, I don't even watch videos of recitals I have given in the past and at least there is someting skilled and interesting to watch!  Seems like a huge waste of money to me.

I have to say I was super turned off by the videography thing and then last night we watched our good friend's wedding video.  It was so precious and brought me to tears.  My sister loves to show hers to her daughter (she requests it!) so she can see when her mommy and daddy were married.  I don't know...it is so expensive.  That's my only problem with it.

We are sold on the idea of a wedding video, but don't know of a good local videographer. We can check out this company, but want to have a video for sure. Video is totally different from photography.
