Personally I am using the Wedding Channel wedding websites. They are the sister site to The Knot, and there are much more options to chose from. I wish I could find one that was more customizable though without having to pay for it :(

Wedding Wire and Project Wedding have good ones.

We have one on theknot.com, but the address was too long, and folks were confused with tinyurl.  Instead, we created a "blog" via blogspot.  We titled each blogpost with information such as "HOTELS" or "RECEPTION" and included the information there.

If our guests wanted specific information without searching, they can access the blog posts dealing only with what they want by clicking the keywords on the right that we created.  :)

I used Weebly.  It's very easy to use and they have free and pay options.  You can buy a personalized domain name from Weebly, GoDaddy or Yahoo Small Business.  I bought mine from Yahoo since it was cheaper, and it's easy to use with the Weebly service.  Weebly doesn't have a lot of nice wedding-y backgrounds though, which is annoying.

I think you can use a domain you buy with Yahoo with any other service too because they let you redirect traffic to that domain to another website.

Mari, check to see if the knot will let you link the page you created with them to your own personalized domain name.  That way you won't have to build your website again.  Or, you can look at those sits I mentioned above to see if they let you redirect traffic from a domain you buy with them to another site.  I think that's how Yahoo does it, but I don't remember because I set it up so long ago.

ETA:  I think we bought our personalized domain name for about $10 or something.  Different sites have different packages.
