After countless months of debating the pros and cons and waiting for more information and stuff, we've finally made the decision on which country we're going to live in!
For anyone that doesn't know and is curious - I was born and raised here, FI was born and raised in England. We met online and 5 1/2 years and many plane journeys later we're engaged.
But anyways, we've finally decided to live.....HERE! : D
I'm so happy. Moving to England would mean leaving my family, totally restarting school, and adjusting to a whole new culture. You wouldn't think it's so different from ours, and mostly it's not, it's mainly the little things. The biggest issue would be that I probably wouldn't be able to drive over there for a while. Their roads are CRAZY!
The only sucky part about that is now I have to have government approval for him to come here and marry me. If we moved to England he could come here on a regular tourist visa and we could just get married and then go to England, but now that he's moving here we have to do the slow and frustrating process of him coming over here - oh well, small price to pay for finally getting to be together!!
