stress!!!

My wedding is in 9 days (yay single digits!).  But I'm majorly stressed out!! I'm packing my house to move this weekend and I feel so far behind!  My friend that is doing my makeup flaked out on me.  I don't even wear make up usually but this is the one day I just really really really wanted to look beautiful.  I don't even know if I have time to find anyone else.  I already tried to contact and hire a make up consultant and artist, but she's too busy to fit me in.... I really didn't like my hair trial run......I feel like I'm going to look awful on my wedding day :( and I just want to feel beautiful).

You WILL look BEAUTIFUL!  No matter what happens!  Now, as far as your makeup goes, why don't you try hitting up a makeup counter at the mall sometime in the next couple of days, talk to the makeup artists there and explain your situation.  I'm sure one of them would be happy to do a test run then and do it the day of.  You'll have to purchase the makeup and you'll probably have to pay the artist for the actual wedding day, but then you have a professional taking care of it.  Plus, you'll get to keep all the makeup they use because you'll be purchasing it.  Just a thought.

And I know moving is stressful, but being married will be totally worth it.  You're in the home stretch now- ALMOST THERE!  XO

Please be honest with your hair stylist about your hair. If you're not happy with it or would prefer it look a little different, speak up! They expect you to. Also, if you haven't already, bring a photo of some styles that you like. Sometimes stylists just need a visual of what you'd like. If you really don't have confidence in your stylist after your trial run, it's not too late to try someone else out early this week. Be sure to start getting ready as early as possible on your wedding day. 99% of weddings that start late are because of hair. Most of the time it is because more than one person in the bridal party is using the same stylist as the bride. I don't recommend this. You need to allot at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours per person for hair and make-up. I agree with the previous posters regarding department store make-up counters. Nordstrom & Macy's both do a good job. I like MAC & Bobbie Brown best. Make sure they put a primer base under your foundation so you aren't "shiny" for photos. And, again, if you aren't 100% happy, speak up! Don't settle. It's your wedding day and you want to look like your very best version of yourself! Best of luck to you :)
