Ideas for Budget Friendly Venues&Reception Sites?

Wedding is a year away and I cannot find any reasonable wedding sites.  We are doing it very small maybe 20-30 people including the wedding party.  Every place seems to do extravagent huge weddings and we want a nice pretty outdoor wedding. I need ideas please??????

What are you looking for? JUST a venue or a venue that offers services?

If you're looking for a nice pretty outdoor wedding, why not try a state park? If you want some place to have cake, dancing, etc. you can rent a group pavilion from them (sounds crappy, but some are really nice!)  There is a group pavilion at Red Top Mountain that rents for $350 for the whole day, includes tables and chairs, has a stone fireplace, A/C, etc. and a deck outside.  You could have a ceremony right there behind it on the lake.  It's set off in an alcove so it's private as well.

Chateau Elan has an "Intimate Wedding" Package which is quite resonable, and it's meant to be for 25 people.  The price is on their website if you want to check it out!

You should check out Cavender Castle in Dahlonega.  They specialize in intimate weddings.  Here is the website:

Thank you so much for all the ideas!! I am definitely gonna look into each one!.  And to answer the first question I am looking for wedding/reception in one.  I have found that the all inclusive is usually cheaper so that is what I am looking for and have found most are willing to cut back price when you don't want everything in the packages. :)

I'm going to be getting married at Big Canoe in Jasper,  its really reasonable price wise & gorgeous up there. Plus Peggy is awesome to work with.
