  Normandy Farm.  It was really important to us to have the ceremony and reception at the same location, and we really lucked out because there was a hotel there too!

 Jasmine's B2 collection.. again pic in siggy.  I had such a mad love affair with those dresses.   I swear I liked them more then my own dress

 I was most looking foward to seeing JEGs' face when I walked down the aisle.  It was everything I hoped it would be

   now you know I had to have some fab shoes





8. What has been your favorite part of planning so far?
  I really enjoyed all my DIY projects.  I was so proud of how everything came out.

9. What has been your least favorite part of planning so far?
 anything money related.

  ...I wanna do it all over again.  It was so much fun.

2. What's your venue? Ceremony and reception at different places or the same one? Our church is St. Marks Lutheran Church in Ridley Park, and the reception is at the North East River Yacht Club in North East, MD.

5. How about the bridesmaid dresses? Right now, they're short(er) and brown. My MOH picked hers out, but I can't remember the style number. It's from DB.
6. What part of the wedding are you most looking forward to?  Being married. Specifically, seeing his face when I'm walking down the aisle.
7. What do your wedding shoes look like? Red heels- there's a pic in my bio under Apparel. There's also a few other pics of my dress, like two with me in it.
8. What has been your favorite part of planning so far? I'm in that lull right now where we've got everything booked, and it's a little too early to do most of the DIY stuff... But so far has been the DIY-ing.
9. What has been your least favorite part of planning so far? Arguing with my mom over stupid stuff.
10. Anything else you want to share? I really want to be a DOC after the wedding...

2. What's your venue? Ceremony and reception at different places or the same one? The Radnor Hotel. Ceremony and cocktail hour in the garden and reception in the ballroom and garden.
3. What are your colors? Blue (a variety) and white. Butter yellow accents.

At some point I'll have a picture of me in it! I'm waiting for my seamstress to take it in to my size.

6. What part of the wedding are you most looking forward to? Our vows. We wrote them ourselves and aren't sharing them with eachother until the ceremony.

I am completely in love with these.
8. What has been your favorite part of planning so far? The tasting! There was so much delicious food and it got me really excited for our reception.
9. What has been your least favorite part of planning so far? I'll agree with the money thing. My least favorite was having to get a second hotel room block because my first hotel messed up our numbers.
10. Anything else you want to share? I am pathetically excited about getting the mail every day. RSVPs!

Strapless with a tuile skirt - Jcrew.  I also added a sash with a big flower in the back.

Also JCrew.  My sister is wearing this one, and they no longer have the other online, but same color.

I'm wearing Kate Spade espadrilles (wedding will be on grass, so regular heels would not work).

Oooh, ooh, can I play even though I'm NEY? Don't flame me too much, I'm sure some of this will change. But these are the things I have in mind right now:

1. What season is your wedding?

Early summer - hopefully within the first 2 weeks of June.
2. What's your venue? Ceremony and reception at different places or the same one?

Different places. I really want an outdoor ceremony, and there is a garden on Lake Minnetonka in MN near where I grew up that I LOVE, so hopefully there. And I do have the venue picked out. It's called The Profile Event Center in Minneapolis, MN. It's got a kind of concert venue feel to it, with a stage and high ceilings and cool lighting. I've been to most of the venues in MN (either as a guest or working) and it's by far my fav
3. What are your colors?

Purple! This is one thing that won't change, as I have an almost unhealthy obsession with the color, heh. Accents will most likely be lime green, silver and black.
4. What's your dress look like? (PIP welcome!)

I've been a good NEY and have NOT tried on dresses yet. I do know that I don't want a train, and that I want something with straps. And I want a purple party dress to change into later on in the night for dancing.
5. How about the bridesmaid dresses?

They will be purple of course, but not sure what shade, and possibly all different shades. Short dresses, but the girls will all get to pick their own style.
6. What part of the wedding are you most looking forward to? 

Actually being able to start planning! :-D And I'm pretty excited to see SO's face when I walk down the aisle. 
7. What do your wedding shoes look like? 

They will be purple, with either a wedge or chunk heel so they don't get stuck in the grass.
8. What has been your favorite part of planning so far?

I was bad and went to tour the venue when I was home over the holidays. And it was amazing, and my parents loved it too. In my own defense, since I'll be planning everything from out of town, I wanted to at least be able to see the venue before booking it, and I wasn't sure when I'd be back in MN so I figured it couldn't hurt to just look. :-P
9. What has been your least favorite part of planning so far?

Not being able to actually start planning yet, lol.
10. Anything else you want to share?

Yes, I know I'm not supposed to "pre-plan," but I've been working in/been around the wedding industry for a long long time, so I've picked up ideas and what not over time. I don't spend hours and hours pouring over pictures of dresses and flowers and what not. So don't flame me too much.

Jenmac - They're Badgley Mischka's Randee. The best deal I found for them was on heels.com. They have a bunch of different colors too. They're pretty tall (4ish inches), but surprisingly comfortable for being that height.

Boo. I'm not sure how ivory your dress is, but the white isn't overly white. It goes well with my offwhite dress. You could always try them and see if they would work and return if they don't. Or get the purple that would match your wedding color!

8. What has been your favorite part of planning so far?
 I'd probably say my favorite (although most stressful) was picking out my gown. I used to live in New York and I went to a lot of places there (including Kleinfeld's!) I wish I counted the total number I actually tried on. It was at least 60!

9. What has been your least favorite part of planning so far?
FBIL designed our invites and the process was pretty painful but worst of all it was very last minute. We had to pay a lot to rush the shipping on everything and I had to take time off of work to put everything together. Also, how expensive everything is. Our parents are paying for most of it and we do have a budget, but there have been a lot of unexpected changes in my family that is making it difficult for them to pay.

I am also extremely excited to check the mail every day and get our RSVPs in!!

I'm getting a little stressed. I'm moving from Syracuse to Boston in a week and getting married in Philly in 4 weeks. In between those 2 events, my FI is graduation from medical school.
