Jackie - love the dress!

I also go through power cords like crazy for my toshiba. We bought a no name replacement at best buy and it is currently stuck in the side. So while it works we can't remove the cord from the laptop. So annoying!

Confession - I can't stop looking at my ring. I know it's so superficial but I really love how it turned out

Vent - I hate how everything wedding related costs so much!  I got so down looking at our wedding budget sheet yesterday.  The "projected" cost keeps going up, up, and up!  ::sigh::

I confess that if my video comes today, I'm going to watch the ceremony without DH because I just can't wait.  I promised him that we'd watch the reception together.  I told him he can watch the first part if he wants when he comes home from work while I'm teaching.

I'm having a hard time deciding who I want to have what necklace, actually!  The calla lily and the cherry blossom were easy.  But the other 3 I'm struggling with.  I'll figure it out. 

I fell in love with these about a year ago, and I've been stalking the seller's shop since then to find 5 perfect necklaces.

I know you've been injured and have had the luxury of having me wait on you hand and foot for a month.  However, last night when you asked me to hand you a fork and knife I didn't know whether to smack you or laugh at you.  The look on your face was priceless when I told you that you were standing directly in front of the silverware drawer in the kitchen, and therefore would have to move out of my way for me to hand you a fork.  Wake the eff up sunshine.

AW - I went to Target on Monday and spent only $21 which is HUGE for me.  I always pick up random things there and spend wayy more than planned.  I did manage to pick up these cuties while I was there:



They're chick salt & pepper shakers (for Easter)!  Last night (right after the fork question) DH asked me where I put the salt.  My reply "it's in the chicken".  LOL  He was hardly amused.... though in my defense I told him I bought them on Monday so he shouldn't have been surprised.

AW - we now have basement floors!  Framing might start Friday or Monday.  When we get home from the cruise it'll look like a house!

Confession:  I'm so tempted to go to Finnegan's Wake on Saturday and kick the crap out of the dbag bouncer who had my phone.  (My friend's friend gave it to him not knowing it was mine.)   I got a phone call from someone who didn't even speak English.... so my mom and I called Verizon (again because we called on Monday afternoon and no one had used it).  They used over 1,000 minutes calling places in Africa!

AW : In the past week we have had our front cleaned, pointed and a new step built, a new roof put on and a new fence and cement in our back yard. Now our contractor is working on our closet. I am feeling so accomplished.

Amy--HOLY CRAP. Finnegan's Wake is damn lucky that they didn't do this to me... because I might be a generally nice person... but when I feel like me or someone I care about is being taken advantage of, I kind of turn into The Hulk.

I confess I'm happy the Proud to Plan Lucky Him contest ends today.  I voted for all the knotties on day 1 and am sick of seeing all the requests/updates on FB.

I confess I really want to cause physical pain FI whenever he changes his mind about his future.  Pick something and STICK WITH IT! Civilian or National Guard, College or work, sell the truck or don't sell the truck, take your leave or cash in it.  My type A personally doens't like change nor does it like things changing every HOUR.  Wow that turned more into a vent.
