My mom found a dress that is called sapphire, so its dark blue. My MOH has almost the same color dress.... this doesn't matter right? They won't be in the same pics either, right? I mean its a month away, I don't care what she wears.

I wouldn't worry about it. If your mom likes it and is comfortable in it let her where it. Like you said, they won't be in the same pics anyhow. Who cares if people think that? People will always think/judge about everything anyhow ... but does it really matter?

It really doesn't matter.  At all.  It's usually the bride who over analyzes stuff like that and makes a big deal out of it.  If you really dont care, then let your mom wear watever she's comfortable in (as long as it's appropriate haha).

Yea it doesnt matter. I know she wont pick anything crazy looking, like FIs mom tried to do...   That is a whole other story   and my aunt is with her (obviously.. mom is blind) so I know my aunt will pick something nice.

My mom is looking at purple dresses and my girls are wearing purple.

I can't wait to see whatever dress she gets. She said she is still going to see Davids Bridal too, but  I TOLD HER they have to order dresses! LOL Won't be in on time.

I think she got this dress at marshalls or ross....

Ok, well this one is settled. For the record, I don't think it matters.

I'm interested to hear the story about FMIL though - any pics or descriptions of what she's looked at?

No I didn't take a pic. It looked more like a prom dress for a 16 year old. Was not 'age appropriate' for her. Shes not a big person, but she should cover up. It was triangle in the front, strappy in the back.... yea, no. LOL  She is keeping it for future though. LOL

It doesnt matter. When Gzilla's brother got married, the MOB absolutely didn't want to wear the same color as MOG.... and a whole big deal was made.  So now, FMIL is telling my mom that since it's her daughter getting married... she should get to pick what color she wants to wear first. 

Personally, I don't think it matters.  However... I do want to make sure that my mom and my dad's wife aren't wearing the same color, or the same dress.  THAT would be really awkward.

yea the moms cant have the same color, that would be too weird since they would maybe be in same pics... right? yea.

oh my. That sounds like an interesting dress. Glad she's gonna get something a little more appropriate!

And I'll agree same colors on the mom's might be a little weird - even if different styles - same color but different shades I could handle.
